Finotto/Facetti won again, the other BMW pairings were unlucky: the Luigi car retired after an accident, the BMW Italia car had all sorts of troubles and finished tenth.
The Escort of Heyer/Niedzwiedz lost clutch and gearbox and retired too, like its sister car witch was disqualified after the starter motor was changed - that is not allowed.
The Eggenberger BMW 320 more or less broke down 5 laps to the end; waiting the last four laps just before the finish line went wrong when the car couldn’t be started again. Instead of second they were now classified fifth. Now Audi had a fine second with Bergmeister/Nowak.
