Probing his way through the night in a fine display of determination and persistent speed, Jeff Allam left no doubt as to his firm claim to Snetterton's Tricentrol Gp1 saloon race on Sunday. The young Effingham driver sliced his way through the Norfolk darkness to stamp his domination all the way from the Union Jack to the Chequered Flag. In the absence of other usual front-runners Stuart Graham, Gordon Spice and Chris Craft, the charging young Capri pilot was simply left to scramble away from pole and ease ahead, leaving every other set of headlights on the grid to pale into helpless insignificance.
