Kluvers, Glansdorp and Maassen had an all-VW fight for the lead, and in the end Maassen beat Glansdorp by a whisker, with Kluvers 3 seconds down - and Ruitenbeek won the 1300 cc class yet again.

Henny Hemmes was criticised for dangerous driving by Moritz, but in part this may have been originated by a puncture; when Moritz passed her on the outside of Tarzan Hemmes slammed into him, since her locked front tyre blew when she was on the inside.
Slotemaker won the race, his sideways style cost Loek Vermeulen dear when he hit Slotemaker - the oil pump belt broke after the impact. Cleutjens finished second ahead of Moritz, while Hutzezon won the 2500 cc class.
